This links to continuity editing as this type does not draw the audiences attention away from action that is happening on the screen. To be seamless, the cuts must aim to be invisible. To achieve seamless continuity the action must feel right and the position of objects must be good. The script continuity supervisor is the person in the crew who is responsible for types of continuity.
Any Mise-en-scene moments which involves the object moving stops continuity. Any form of action that does not match will also break the action. This links to the 180 degree rule as when you break this rule it results in continuity broken.
